ICAR-Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Young Professional-II (2 posts) under the project “Genome Editing Approaches for Improving Growth and Reproduction of Brackishwater Teleosts and Indian White Shrimp, Penaeus indicus”. This is a purely temporary position.
Position Details:
- Post: Young Professional-II (Two Posts)
- Project Name: Genome Editing Approaches for Improving Growth and Reproduction of Brackishwater Teleosts and Indian White Shrimp
- Duration: Till March 2026 or the closure of the project
- Emoluments: Rs. 42,000/- (Consolidated) per month
Essential Qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Zoology/Biotechnology
- M.F.Sc. in Aquaculture/Fish Genetics & Biotechnology
- M.Tech in Biotechnology
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in Gene Editing, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or Fish Genetics as evidenced through research publications or work experience.
Age Limit:
- Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women as of the date of the interview.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms.
