Aurobindo Pharma Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) wing of Aurobindo Pharma Limited, has extended a financial lifeline to two families in Andhra Pradesh who recently suffered the loss of their loved ones during a fishing expedition at sea.

The foundation provided ₹3 lakh in assistance, with K. Kamalakar Reddy, Head of the Pydibhimavaram unit, and P. Gopala Krishna Reddy, Head of HR and Administration, presenting ₹1.5 lakh cheques to each family. The beneficiaries are residents of Ranasthalam mandal in Srikakulam district.

Beyond this charitable act, Aurobindo Pharma Foundation remains actively engaged in various community-centric initiatives to uplift the local populace. The foundation, as part of its commitment to social welfare, has been providing scholarships and other facilities to students. Additionally, it has contributed to the construction of new roads and played a role in establishing water plants for the community’s well-being.

This empathetic initiative by Aurobindo Pharma Foundation aligns with its overarching goal of making a positive and meaningful impact on the lives of local residents, especially during times of distress for bereaved families.
