FIVE DAYS TRAINING ON NUTRITION AND FEED MANAGEMENT IN COLDWATER AQUACULTURE

The ICAR – Directorate of Coldwater Fisheries Research warmly welcomes all participants to the Five Days Training on Nutrition and Feed Management for an enriching learning experience.

- Feeding biology of fish / nutritional requirements
- Feed types and functions
- Selection and evaluation of ingredients and feeds
- Feed mill operation and manufacturing technology
- Feed management in coldwater aquaculture
- Fish nutrition research and feed development
- Prevention and control of nutritional diseases
Who Should Attend?
Scientists, academicians, government officials, entrepreneurs, industry representatives, technical officers, and research scholars who are interested/engaged in Aquaculture and Fisheries can apply for this training programme by filling in the Google Form. Interested candidates may apply for the training in the prescribed format on or before 02 August 2024.

Training Fee
- For regular participants: Rs 5500
- For students of ICAR/SAU: Rs 2500
The fee includes course material, institutional charges, and refreshments only.

Travel
The travel expenditure has to be borne by the participants/sponsoring authority.
Boarding and Lodging
Boarding and lodging have to be borne by the participants/sponsoring agency. ICAR-DCFR guesthouse facility may be provided to trainees, subject to availability, with charges as per ICAR norms. If the guesthouse is not available, participants shall be given guidance to find suitable accommodations in the vicinity.
