MPEDA’s Sub Regional Divisions Nagapattinam is organizing extension programmes at the RGCA Conference Hall in Sirkazhi, Mayiladuthurai District. These programs aim to educate farmers and stakeholders about emerging technologies in aquaculture, including:
MPEDA, through its society, the National Centre for Sustainable Aquaculture (NaCSA), works towards the upliftment of small-scale farmers through a cluster-based approach, encouraging societies to adopt BMPs.
Training Programmes
Basic Training (4 Days)
This 4-day training is designed for technicians working in the aquaculture sector with at least 1 year of experience in shrimp aquaculture and holding a diploma or graduation.

Advanced Workshop Training (2 Days)
This 2-day advanced workshop is designed for technicians with over 10 years of experience in the aquaculture sector or those who have completed the basic training.
