EXCITING CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AT NITTE-GOK CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE IN AQUAMARINE INNOVATION

Nitte-GoK Centre of Excellence in Aquamarine Innovation (NITTE-GOK COE | AQUAMARIN), located at the Nitte University Centre for Science Education & Research (NUCSER), Nitte (Deemed to be University), Mangalore, invites applications for Research, Administrative, and Non-Technical Positions.

These tenure-track positions are offered with a consolidated pay structure. The initial appointment is for three years, subject to annual performance reviews, and may be extended based on funding agency support.

Positions and Qualifications

  1. CoE-Head:
    • MBA with or without PhD, with expertise in the incubation ecosystem.
    • Salary: ₹1,15,000 – ₹1,25,000 per month.
  2. CoE-Manager:
    • MSc in Fisheries/Aquatic Biology and PhD in Fisheries/Biological Sciences.
    • Extensive experience in Fisheries, Marine Biotechnology, or Marine Biology.
    • An MBA is desirable but not essential.
    • Salary: ₹90,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month.
  3. Project Scientist:
    • MSc in Fisheries/Aquatic Biology with strong research credentials in aquamarine biotechnology.
    • A PhD in the relevant field is desirable but not essential.
    • Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month.
  4. Office Assistant:
    • BSc, BCom, or BA degree with experience in office work.
    • Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month.
  5. Lab/Office Attender:
    • SSLC with the ability to read, write, and communicate in English and Kannada.
    • Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month.
