Government Arts and Science College Now Offers MSc in Fisheries

Government Arts and Science College, Kamareddy. which previously offered a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fisheries, Zoology, and Chemistry, has now introduced a Master of Science (MSc) course in Fisheries. This new program has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is part of the college’s efforts to enhance its academic offerings.
The college is situated in a peaceful environment, ideal for studying and learning. To support practical learning and the development of innovative ideas, the college has two culture ponds. These ponds are used for hands-on training and to improve practical knowledge in fisheries.
Students at the college have expressed their excitement about the new MSc course. One student mentioned that there will be more practical classes than theory classes, and praised the supportive faculty, stating that their guidance and mentorship have been crucial in developing their skills and understanding of the subject.
