The Haryana Public Service Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the following post:

Name of Post: Deputy Director Fisheries / Equivalent Post (Group – A) in Fisheries Department, Haryana

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

1. Option 1:
   • Sc. in Fisheries or M.Sc. in Zoology with specialization in Fish and Fisheries as a regular course from a recognized University.
2. Option 2:
   • Master’s degree from the Central Institute of Fisheries Education (Deemed University) in Fisheries Resources Management or Inland Fisheries.
3. Option 3:
   • F.Sc. or B.Sc. from a recognized University with Zoology as one of the subjects as a regular course with a Post Graduate Diploma in Fisheries Science (two years) from the Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai.
4. Option 4:
   • F.Sc. or B.Sc. from a recognized University with Zoology as one of the subjects as a regular course with one year post-graduate training from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.

Experience:

• Five years of experience as a Group ‘B’ Officer in the State/Central Institute dealing with Fisheries Administration, Development Planning, Research, and Management.
• Alternatively, six years of experience as a Group ‘B’ Officer from State/Central Institute dealing with Fisheries Administration, Development Planning, Research, and Management.

Language Requirement:

• Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric Standard or higher education.

Age Limit:

• Candidates should be between 18 to 42 years as on the closing date for submission of online application forms.
• Age relaxation is available for various categories as per government norms.

Scale of Pay:

• Level FPL-10 Rs. 56,100
