Interview for the Post of Young Professional I

An interview is scheduled to be conducted on 08.05.2024 at ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Kochi, for the recruitment of two Young Professional I positions under the project titled “Integrating Risk Assessments and Future Projections for Sustainable Coastal Resilience”. The details for the positions are as follows:

Position: Young Professional I

Number of Posts: Two

Project Title: Integrating Risk Assessments and Future Projections for Sustainable Coastal Resilience

Essential Qualifications for Young Professional I (Fisheries Science/ Marine Science): Graduates/ Diploma holders in Fisheries Science/ Marine Science

Desirable Experiences: Knowledge in ecological principles/ environmental analysis/GIS/ Geoinformatics

Nature and Duration of the Post:

  • Environmental data collection and analysis/ Laboratory experiments/ field experiments.
  • Post is purely on a contract basis for a period of one year from the date of joining or till the termination of the project, whichever is earlier.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum age: 21 years
  • Maximum age: 45 years with relaxation as per rules

Emoluments:

Rs. 30,000/ per month (Consolidated Emoluments as per ICAR guidelines)

Place of Work: ICARCMFRI, Kochi

Terms and Conditions:

  • Applicants must submit their biodata along with scanned copies of the original supporting documents to mbemd.ira@gmail.com on or before 30.04.2024.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email and only those who receive communication may appear for the interview on the specified date and time.
  • This recruitment is purely on a temporary basis.
  • All original certificates from matriculation onwards must be sent in scanned form to mbemd.ira@gmail.com on or before 30.04.2024.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for appearing for the interview.
  • Candidates should produce the No Objection Certificate from their present employer, if any.
  • Decision of Director, ICARCMFRI will be final and binding in all respects.
