A walk-in interview is scheduled for the selection of two Young Professional-I positions. These posts are purely temporary, contractual, and co-terminus with the project titled “Alternate Fuel and Energy System.” The appointments may be terminated at any time without prior notice or assignment of reasons.
Position Details

- Emoluments: Rs. 30,000/- per month (Consolidated)

Essential Qualification
- Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical/Automobiles/Fisheries Engineering and Technology/Mathematics/Physics.
Preferred Qualification
- MFSc in Fisheries/Mathematics/Physics.
Desirable Skills
- Willingness to travel across Maharashtra for field surveys and data collection.
- Ability to work with stakeholders from fishing communities.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi languages.

Terms & Conditions
- Candidates must submit attested copies of all relevant certificates (age, education, caste, etc.) along with the originals at the time of joining.
- The recruitment will follow ICAR guidelines as per the O.M. dated 04.12.2020.
- Selected candidates will be entitled to 08 days of Casual Leave (CL) and 02 days of Restricted Holiday (RH) annually, on a pro-rata basis.
- Frequent travel for fieldwork and surveys may be required.
- The Director reserves the right to cancel or postpone the interview without notice. Decisions by the Director, ICAR-CIFT, will be final and binding.
