In a significant reshuffling of the Bihar state government, Rajeev Ranjan, popularly known as Lalan Singh, has been appointed to two crucial ministries in the Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal (United) administration. Singh will now head the Ministry of Panchayati Raj as well as the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying.
