Project: INFAAR Project titled “Network Programme on Assessment of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) in microorganisms associated with Fisheries and Aquaculture in India” (NBFGR-INFAAR Project)
Essential Qualification: First class Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or any life sciences with experience in field testing.
Desirable: Experience in Antimicrobial resistance, handling bacteria, and molecular techniques. Proficiency in computer documentation and analytical skills. Previous exposure to microbial cultures and molecular techniques.
Emoluments: Rs. 30,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Nature of Work: The position involves extensive field trips, stakeholder liaison, testing of aquaculture samples for antimicrobial resistance, database development, and laboratory analysis.
Duration: Contractual basis up to 31.12.2024
Age Limit: Candidates should be above 21 years and maximum of 45 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation as per rules.

Terms & Conditions:
- Registration: 9:00 A.M. – 10:00 A.M.
- Age Relaxation: 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- Educational Qualification: First class or 60% marks or equivalent overall GPA.
- Submission: Detailed bio-data with a recent passport size photograph and attested copies of all relevant certificates.
- Original Certificates: Shall be produced for verification before the interview.
- Employment Status: Selected candidate will be recruited on a contract basis under ICAR norms.
- Eligibility: Candidates should ensure they fulfill all eligibility conditions.
- NOC: Candidates already employed should submit a “No Objection Certificate” from their present employer.
- Travel Allowance: No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- Canvassing: Any form of canvassing will lead to disqualification.
- Decision: The decision of Director, CIFT will be final and binding in all aspects regarding the selection to the post.
