Recruitment Notification for Young Professional-I at ICAR-CMFRI, Mangalore Regional Centre

An interview is scheduled to be held on 20th August 2024 (10:00 hrs) at the office of the Mangalore Regional Centre of ICAR-CMFRI, Hoige Bazar, Mangalore-575001, for the recruitment of Young Professional-I (1 Position) under the National Innovations in Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA) project.

Position Details:

• Project Name: National Innovations in Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)
• Post: Young Professional-I
• Number of Positions: One
• Location: Mangalore Regional Centre of ICAR-CMFRI, Hoige Bazar, Mangalore, Karnataka – 575001
• Nature of Appointment: Contractual, purely temporary for one year or until the project concludes, whichever is earlier.
• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years, with relaxation as per government norms.
• Salary: Rs. 30,000/- per month (No House Rent Allowance)
• Educational Qualifications:
  • BFSc./BSc. or any degree in Life Sciences/Zoology/Chemistry
  • Diploma in Agriculture and Allied Sciences
• Desirable: Experience in research activities in Fishery Biology.

Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email, and only those who receive the communication may appear for the interview on the specified date and time.

Terms & Conditions:

1. Original certificates from matriculation onwards must be sent in scanned form to cmfrimng@gmail.com by the deadline. Without these certificates, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
2. Candidates must produce one valid ID proof and two passport-sized photographs at the time of the interview.
3. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.
4. The competent authority reserves the right to terminate the contract without assigning any reason at any time.
5. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
6. If any candidate has a relative employed at ICAR-CMFRI, this must be declared in writing using the format provided in ANNEXURE-II, and communicated to cmfrimng@gmail.com by 18th August 2024.
7. All candidates are required to submit the declarations detailed in ANNEXURE-I and ANNEXURE-II by the given deadline.
8. Candidates currently employed must produce a No Objection Certificate from their current employer.
9. The decision of the Director, ICAR-CMFRI, will be final and binding.

• Candidates must provide a conversion table/formula for CGPA/OGPA to percentage conversion at the time of the interview.
• The selected candidate will not have any claim for regular appointments at this institute, as the position is purely contractual.
• Age relaxation claims must be supported by valid certification as per GOI norms.
