The ICAR-Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (CIBA) invites applications from eligible candidates for the temporary position of Young Professional-II under the funded project “ICAR-National Surveillance Program on Aquatic Animal Diseases” at the Navsari-Gujarat Research Centre (NGRC) of ICAR-CIBA, Navsari, Gujarat.

Duration:
One year or until the closure of the project

Fellowship:
Rs. 42,000/- per month (Consolidated)

Essential Qualification:
Master’s degree (M.F.Sc) in Fish Health, Fish Pathology & Microbiology, Aquatic Animal Health

Desirable:

  • Work experience in laboratories or projects related to aquatic animal health
  • Evidence of peer-reviewed publications
  • Skills in computer and writing communication

Age Limit:

  • Maximum 35 years for men
  • Maximum 40 years for women (as of the date of the interview)
  • Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules

Late applications will not be considered. Communication will be sent to shortlisted candidates only by email to attend the interview. Candidates who receive the email should appear for the online interview with the required documents. The Director of ICAR-CIBA reserves the right to accept or reject any applications. ICAR-CIBA will not correspond with applicants who are not shortlisted for the interview.
