ICAR-Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (CIBA) invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Project Associate-1 (2 positions) and Project/Technical Assistant (1 position) on a purely temporary basis under the DBT-funded project at this Institute.
Project Title: IoT based water and soil health monitoring systems with affordable indigenous sensors for intensive aquaculture

Project Associate-1 (Two Posts)
Essential Qualifications:
- F.Sc degree in Aquaculture/Aquatic Environmental Management/Aquatic Resource Management
- Sc in Chemistry/Soil Chemistry/Aquaculture/Marine Biology/Environmental Sciences and other relevant disciplines for the project
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with a specialization in Computer Science/Electronics & Communications or M.Sc in Data Science with experience in IoT and Artificial Intelligence
Desirable Qualifications:
- Candidates with NET qualification
- Research/work experience in the relevant disciplines, and use of IoT and artificial intelligence, and enthusiasm to pursue the project work
Emoluments: Rs. 39,370/- per month (Rs. 31,000/- + 27% HRA)
Age Limit: Below 35 years for Men and 40 years for women (with relaxation for SC/ST and OBC Candidates as per Govt of India norms)
Project Duration: Three years / co-terminus with project
Project/Technical Assistant (One Post)
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate (B.Sc) in Life Sciences
- Graduate in Data Sciences
- Diploma in Engineering & Technology
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in aquaculture fieldwork and conducting laboratory experiments
- Experience in IoT and artificial intelligence
- Post-graduation in the relevant discipline for the project and enthusiasm to pursue the project work
Emoluments: Rs. 25,400/- per month (Rs. 20,000/- + 27% HRA)
Age Limit: Below 50 years
Project Duration: Three years / co-terminus with project
