Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (Young Professional II) at ICAR-CIBA

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellow on a temporary basis under the ICAR sponsored project “Centre for Agricultural Bioinformatics (CABin)” at this Institute.

POST: Young Professional II (YP-II) – One Post

Project Name

Duration: Up to March 2026 / Co-terminus with the project

Essential Qualification

  • M. Tech / M.Sc. in Bioinformatics or Computational Biology with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average.

Desirable

  • Experience in RNAseq data analysis and metagenomics data analysis.
  • Programming skills in PHP/MySQL, Python, and R stats.

Emoluments

  • A consolidated pay of Rs 42,000/- per month.

Age Limit

  • Maximum 40 years for men and 45 years for women as on the date of interview.
  • Age limits are relaxable for SC / ST / OBC candidates as per rules.

Place of Post

  • ICAR-CIBA, MRC Nagar, Chennai.

Last Date for Submission of Biodata

  • 14th July, 2024

Date & Time of Interview

  • Will be intimated by mail

Mode of Interview

  • Physical mode / Suitable online platform
