Seafood Excellence Global Awards 2024: 40 Finalists Revealed for Prestigious Barcelona Event

40 finalists have been selected for the 2024 Seafood Excellence Global Awards, a prestigious competition set to take place at Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global in Barcelona, Spain from April 23 to 25, 2024.

This annual contest celebrates the finest seafood products developed over the past year. The chosen finalists hail from 15 different countries and will vie for two coveted grand prizes: Best Hotel/Restaurant/Catering (HORECA) Product and Best Retail Product. Additionally, five other awards will recognize innovation, convenience, health and nutrition, retail packaging, and seafood product line excellence.

The winners will be revealed at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, at the Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue CC5, Room 5.

These finalists emerged from a pool of 85 entries, meticulously evaluated by a panel of three esteemed seafood industry experts.

The Seafood Excellence Global Awards is an offshoot of the renowned Seafood Excellence North America competition, held annually at Seafood Expo North America in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. These competitions, alongside the Seafood Excellence Asia Awards, are organized by Diversified Communications, the entity behind Seafood Expo North America/Seafood Processing North America, Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global, and Seafood Expo Asia in Singapore. The latter event is scheduled for September 4 to 6 this year.
