The National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) invites applications for various contractual positions. Eligible candidates are encouraged to attend the walk-in interview as per the details below.

2. Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, 1st Floor, Chander Lok Building, New Delhi – 110001 (for Monitoring Assistant position).

Positions Available

1. Consultant (Grade I – Technical Division)
   • of Posts: 01
   • Location: NFDB, Hyderabad
   • Age Limit: 45 years
   • Tenure: 1 year (extendable)
   • Remuneration: ₹53,000/month (inclusive of conveyance allowance).
   • Essential Qualification:F.Sc.
   • Desirable:D. in Fisheries Science, 2 years’ experience in fisheries-related fieldwork, proficiency in computers.
2. Consultant (Grade I – Insurance Division)
   • of Posts: 01
   • Location: NFDB, Hyderabad
   • Age Limit: 65 years
   • Tenure: 1 year (extendable)
   • Remuneration: ₹53,000/month or as per government norms.
   • Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree, experience in policy analysis or insurance-related work.
3. Senior Technical Officer (AAH&QTL)
   • of Posts: 02
   • Location: NFDB, Hyderabad
   • Age Limit: 45 years
   • Tenure: 1 year (extendable)
   • Remuneration: ₹53,000/month (inclusive of conveyance allowance).
   • Essential Qualification:D./M.F.Sc. in Fish Biotechnology/Microbiology or related fields.
   • Experience: Minimum 2 years in laboratory work, with expertise in PCR, microbial culture, and other diagnostics.
4. Consultant (Grade I – Hindi Division)
   • of Posts: 01
   • Location: NFDB, Hyderabad
   • Age Limit: 45 years (retired officials up to 65 years may apply).
   • Tenure: 1 year (extendable)
   • Remuneration: ₹53,000/month or as per government norms.
   • Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Hindi, knowledge of computer applications.
5. Monitoring Assistant (FIDF)
   • of Posts: 01
   • Location: Department of Fisheries, New Delhi
   • Age Limit: Below 45 years
   • Tenure: 1 year (extendable)
   • Remuneration: ₹50,000/month.
   • Essential Qualification:E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering, 3+ years of project monitoring experience.

 

General Information

• Candidates must bring original documents and a filled application form in the prescribed proforma.
• A PowerPoint presentation (10 minutes) showcasing field experience relevant to the position is mandatory (to be carried on a pen drive).
• The positions are purely contractual and do not confer any claim for permanent employment.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
