The Visakhapatnam Regional Centre of the ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) is conducting a walk-in interview for the recruitment of a Field Assistant. This position is part of an APSBB-funded project titled “Bio-inventorying and Documentation of Marine Species in Coastal and Marine Ecosystems of Andhra Pradesh.”

Eligibility Criteria:
- Essential Qualification:
A Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science, Marine Biology, Industrial Fisheries, Zoology, or relevant subjects. - Desirable Skills:
- Experience in taxonomy of marine flora and fauna.
- Knowledge of experimental fishing, plankton collection, local language proficiency, photography, computer skills, and data analysis.
- The candidate should be seaworthy and proficient in Telugu.
- Age Limit:
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 45 years (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC as per GOI norms).
