Walk-in Interview for the Post of Field Worker at College of Fisheries, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University

Eligible candidates are invited for a Walk-in Interview for the post of Field Worker at a fixed salary of Rs. 15,000/- per month in the research project “DST-21: Improvement of livelihood status of the Scheduled-Caste (SC) population of Punjab State through biofloc fish farming and value addition of produced fish” funded by the SEED Division of the Department of Science & Technology. The post is purely temporary, and the service of the incumbent is liable to be terminated at any time without any prior notice. The initial appointment will be for six months and may be extended, subject to satisfactory performance. The incumbent will have no right whatsoever for absorption in regular university service.

Essential Qualifications:
10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks

Desirable:
Experience working with fish farming field-related activities

Age Limit:

  • Minimum age of entry is 18 years
  • Maximum age is 37 years

The relaxation in age and reservation shall be as per Punjab Govt. University rules. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of Punjabi. If a suitable candidate with knowledge of Punjabi is not available, another candidate will be considered.

Candidates are advised to come along with a completed application form (enclosed with this notice), a brief resume, and original certificates to this office preferably by 9:30 AM on 01.08.2024. The candidates called for the interview will not be entitled to any TA/DA/fare, etc.
