The ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (ICAR-CMFRI) invites applications for a Walk-in Interview to fill 1 post of Young Professional-I (Scheduled Caste (SC) category only) on a contractual basis at the Puri Field Centre under the “Scheduled Caste Sub-Plan Project” (SCSP).

Job Details:

• Position: Young Professional-I
• Number of Posts: 01 (SC Category Only)
• Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Sciences/Marine Biology/Zoology/Life Sciences or relevant fields
  • OR Diploma in Fisheries or related subjects
• Desirable Experience:
  • Experience in fisheries, aquaculture, and field surveys
  • Computer and data analysis skills
  • Photography skills and proficiency in Odia
• Age Limit: 21 – 45 years (Relaxation as per rules)
• Nature of Post: Contractual for 1 year or until the project ends (as per ICAR guidelines)
• Salary: ₹30,000 per month (consolidated)
• Place of Work: Puri Field Centre, ICAR-CMFRI and project sites

• Date of Interview: 22nd October 2024, 10:00 AM
• Venue: Puri Field Centre, ICAR-CMFRI, Station Road, Puri-752002, Odisha
  (Inside District Fisheries Office Campus, Infront of Neelachal Urban Haat)

4. The position is purely contractual and temporary.
5. Selected candidates cannot claim regular appointments at ICAR-CMFRI.
6. Submit a hard copy of the signed declaration (Annexure-II) during the interview.
7. If employed, provide a “No Objection Certificate” from your current employer.
