Eligibility and Requirements:

• Essential Qualifications:
  • BFSc/B.Sc./B.Tech. with specialization in Aquaculture/Zoology/Life Science/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Fishery Science/Marine Biology.
• Desirable Experience:
  • Working knowledge in hatchery/fish farm/Aquaculture.
• Age Limit:
  • 21-45 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates).

Emoluments:

• Salary: Rs. 30,000/- (Consolidated as per revised ICAR guidelines).

• Interview Notification:
  • Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email and only those who receive communication may attend the walk-in interview on the specified date and time.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Original Certificates:
   • Scanned copies of original certificates from matriculation onwards must be sent via email. Without these, applicants will not be allowed to attend the interview. A valid ID proof must be produced at the time of the interview.
2. Disclosure of Facts:
   • Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.
3. Termination Rights:
   • The competent authority reserves the right to terminate without assigning any reason at any time.
4. Travel Allowance:
   • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
5. Declaration of Relatives:
   • Candidates must declare if any relative is an employee of ICAR-CMFRI as detailed in ANNEXURE-II and communicate to the undersigned by post or email.
6. Mandatory Declarations:
   • All candidates are required to furnish the declarations as detailed in ANNEXURE-I and ANNEXURE-II, duly signed and submitted.
7. Vacancy Variation:
   • The total number of vacancies may vary depending on other requirements, if any, on the date of the interview.
8. No Objection Certificate:
   • Candidates currently employed must produce a No Objection Certificate from their employer.
9. Full-Time Commitment:
   • Young Professionals-I will be engaged on a full-time basis and will not be permitted to take up any other assignments during the engagement period with ICAR-CMFRI.

• Final Decision:
  • The decision of the Director, ICAR-CMFRI will be final and binding in all respects.
• Contractual Nature:
  • The selected candidates shall not claim any regular appointments at the institute as the positions are purely contractual, non-regular, and time-bound.
