ICAR-NBFGR, Lucknow is conducting a Walk-in Interview on 04.12.2024 (Wednesday) from 10:00 hrs onwards for the position of Young Professional-II on a contractual basis under a CABin-funded project.
Project Name: “Understanding Genomic Factors Responsible for Growth Performance in Clarias magur”
Position Details:
- Position: Young Professional-II
- Number of Posts: 1
- Monthly Emoluments: ₹42,000/- fixed
- Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years (relaxation as per rules)
- Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Genetics, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences.
- Desirable Experience: Experience in cytogenetics, molecular cytogenetics, DNA and RNA sequencing, and molecular data analysis (DNA/RNA sequences).
Terms & Conditions:
- The position is purely temporary and may be terminated by the Director, ICAR-NBFGR, Lucknow, at any time without prior notice. Continuation will depend on performance and funding.
- Tenure and service conditions will follow project and ICAR guidelines.
- Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be permitted to attend the interview.
- Primary location: ICAR-NBFGR, Lucknow (subject to change as per project requirements).
- Candidates should arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled interview time.
- Canvassing will disqualify candidates.
- Selection is based on academic performance, research experience, and interview performance.
- Age relaxation certificates, as applicable under GOI norms, must be presented with other documents if claimed.
