The position is purely contractual, for a period of 9 months, ending on 30th June 2025 or closure of the project, whichever is earlier.

Essential Qualifications:
- Post-graduate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Technology, or any other relevant subject OR
- Graduate degree in relevant Agricultural Sciences (including Agriculture, Fisheries, Veterinary/Engineering/Technology)
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in operating LC-MS and proficiency in MATLAB, R, and Python.
- Excellent communication and scientific writing skills in English.
Job Description:
The project aims to develop analytical methods and chemoinformatics models for seafood authentication. The selected candidate will:
- Operate high-resolution mass spectrometers independently.
- Create chemoinformatics models using SIMCA, MATLAB, R, and Python for seafood fraud detection.
- Identify metabolites using vendor and open-source software.
