Walk-In Interviews Announced by Directorate of Coldwater Fisheries Research for Young Professionals in Fish Health Project

The Directorate of Coldwater Fisheries Research, under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, has issued a notification for walk-in interviews to fill two positions of Young Professionals (YP) – II on a contract basis. The recruitment is part of the ‘All India Network on Fish Health (AINP-FH)’ project.

Applicants are required to hold a Postgraduate/Master’s degree in Fisheries Science, Microbiology, or Biotechnology. Alternatively, candidates with a Graduate degree in Engineering/Technology/Veterinary Science are also eligible. Desirable qualifications include working experience in efficacy, bio-safety, and pharmacokinetic trials of veterinary medicinal products. The age of applicants should be between 21 to 45 years, and the consolidated remuneration for the position is set at Rs 35,000/-.

The nature of work for the selected candidates involves conducting experimental trials on the efficacy, bio-safety, and pharmacokinetics of veterinary medicinal products for coldwater fishes. The location of work will be at ICAR-DCFR, Bhimtal.

This initiative aligns with the ongoing efforts to enhance fish health research and promote advancements in coldwater fisheries. The walk-in interviews provide an opportunity for qualified individuals to contribute to the ‘All India Network on Fish Health’ project and gain valuable experience in the field.
