This exclusive school offers BBA (FEM) and MBA (FEM) degree programs aimed at nurturing business management and entrepreneurship skills with a specialized approach to Fisheries and Aquaculture Business Enterprises. In 2022, the school was relocated to the Directorate of Incubation and Vocational training in Aquaculture (DIVA) campus, ECR, Muttukadu, Chennai – 603112.

Instructions to the Candidates to Fill in the Application Form:

  • Step 1: Click on “PG Admission 2024-25” link given on the website tnjfu.ac.in and download the respective Prospectus.
  • Step 2: Read the Prospectus carefully before filling up and submitting the applications.
  • Step 3: Submit the downloaded filled-in application along with the application fee (Demand Draft) by Post addressed to The Chairman, PG Admission Committee, Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi – 628008 on or before 01.07.2024 or any other date that may be extended and notified.
  • Application Fee: The fee should be remitted only in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, TNJFU, Nagapattinam (Rs. 750/- for SC/ST and Rs. 1500/- for others).
  • Qualifications: Only candidates possessing the qualifications as prescribed in the prospectus will be considered.
  • Application Changes: No addition, deletion, or alteration of any particulars relating to the application is permitted after submission.
  • Photograph and Signature: The candidate has to affix a recent passport size photograph and signature in the space provided in the application.

Documents to be Attached (Attested Copies):

  1. Nativity Certificate in the prescribed format (if applicable).
  2. S.L.C. / H.S.C. mark sheet or First page of Service Register for proof of date of birth.
  3. Transfer Certificate (or) Migration Certificate, if available.
  4. Community Certificate.
  5. Provisional / Degree Certificate of Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree. If the candidate is pursuing the final year Undergraduate Course or has appeared for the final semester examination and awaiting results, the Provisional Certificate shall be furnished before admission.
  6. Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institution last studied.
  7. Statement of marks/Report cards/Transcript card.
  8. Service Certificate showing the details of service/experience.
  9. Proof for Research articles published (first page of the article) and academic medals/awards.
  • Any other relevant certificates.

Note: Failure to submit any of the above documents from Sl.no. 1 to 7 will make the candidate ineligible for admission.

Additional Information:

  • Candidates claiming communal reservation should furnish the certificate obtained from the competent authority.
  • Selected candidates should join the course on or before the specified date, failing which their names will be deleted and resultant vacancies will be filled up with other eligible wait-listed candidates through counselling.

  • No correspondence will be entertained in any other form.
  • For all correspondence, the Name of the candidate needs to be mentioned.
  • All columns in the application form should be filled, checked, and supported by relevant certificates/documents.
